This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These resources will be used to support the positive behaviors exhibited on campus by students daily. Students can earn points in the classroom and then come to the owl's nest monthly to spend their points. This has been a behavioral system that has been at our school for two years and has been extremely successful as the students love coming to our owl's nest to shop monthly. Our behaviors have decreased by 70% since starting this program.

This store has truly changed the culture for our students and staff in supporting our community with a more positive experience in rewarding the expected behaviors that help our students to become kind, strong, and smart owls.
