My Project
My class participates in our school wide Scholar Dollar Store as a reward system to reinforce positive behaviors. The students earn Scholar dollars for earning good grades and demonstrating appropriate behaviors. We follow the PBIS program (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), which teaches the scholars to be respectful, responsible, and safe. Scholars are rewarded when they exhibit exceptional behavior and can redeem those "dollars" for prizes. Your donation of sketch books, drawing boards, sensory toys, and plastic phones will give them an opportunity to receive a variety of prizes. This would help encourage students to reach their goals and feel proud of their accomplishments, which in turn will motivate and mold our students into future leaders and model citizens.
