Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are implementing a Positive Behavior Intervention System at our school to help teach students be responsible citizens.
We'd like to encourage students by rewarding them with "Eagle dollars" when they are caught doing the right thing.
Students will have an opportunity to earn Eagle dollars throughout the week for displaying positive behaviors such as being a good friend, waiting for their turn, being a good sport, ignoring distractions, participating in class, making responsible choices, etc. On Fridays, they will be able to cash in their Eagle dollars for the snacks we are requesting as donation.
Currently our students are earning their Eagle dollars and frequently ask what they can do with it but we do not have the funding to support our program. Your donation will help reinforce the expectations to get our youth ready for the world!
