This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at one of the largest elementary schools in this area. We have some awesome students that struggle with proper nutrients for their bodies and minds. As the Librarian and the Food Pantry Coordinator, I see many students that are in families struggling to make ends meet. These students come to school with positive attitudes even though they deal with some hardships. I want to be able to help them with an encouraging note and snack. This way they get something to fuel their bodies as well as a positive reinforcement! Thank you for your help!
