Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a teacher of students with emotional disabilities and/or autism. My students need a lot of positive behavior interventions and supports to be successful in school. Part of that is earning prizes, treats, and activities in the classroom! My prize bucket is running low and needs to be refilled.
My students are motivated by earning prizes and activities because they can see their hard work pay off!
Your donation will allow my students to earn little rewards for all that they do. This can be using a self-regulation strategy, positively interacting with a peer, or getting their work done.
I also put a standing desk in this project because it would make reading groups a lot easier to teach as I currently stack a chair on a table and use that as a standing desk so I can interact with my students while using the materials.
