This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is comprised of students in grades 3rd through 5th, special education and general education with a large population of English Language Learners. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this past year and are not only surviving but thriving in this very different post-pandemic environment. Our students come from very diverse backgrounds. They love reading diverse books, participating in maker space activities and STEM challenges, and are very curious. There are over 700 students in our school! They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. They are all amazing kids!

Our positive behavior (PBIS) party will motivate students to make good choices so they can be recognized and celebrated at this and future PBIS parties.

Only the top 2 scholars from each class will be invited.

We love to celebrate students who are always doing the right thing!

We will honor the students by telling them we are proud of them for their good choices. Then we will play games, do crafts and enjoy snacks and juice.

When they return to class and tell everyone about how much fun they had, their classmates will do their best to make good choices so they can get chosen next time!
