This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In art class I try my best to expose my students to a wide variety of materials. With that said, nothing gets the students more excited or motivated as much as POSCA markers do. These paint markers are very popular online and are also, unfortunately, very expensive. They work great, and last a long time, but when you have over 150 a day and 600 total even the most durable materials start to run out. We were lucky enough to receive a grant last year for these, but unfortunately the popular colors have run out.

I have a great group of art students that I would love to do a POSCA marker art project with.

I believe these markers will help the projects look amazing and the students feel more confident about their art.
