it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"My students are my passion!" As a mom myself, I do my best to not only reach my students academically but to provide them with the social setting they need to be within a classroom that supports them as people. They are all my kids not just in school but out of school, too!
In my class we have a mantra: "We may not ALWAYS know, but we can ALWAYS grow!" I try to create a classroom where students feel they can work hard toward understanding what they can do to grow instead of just focusing on getting the right answer.
I work hard to instill in my students that if they focus on having a growth mindset in my classroom that they will achieve great success in and out of my classroom.
My Project
These materials will allow my students learning to happen anywhere in the classroom! We often have a need to work with a small group of students during instruction. It is often difficult to do so effectively using small whiteboards and constantly needing to wipe them off.
The easel will allow us to move around the room wherever we are needed to make the material accessible to not only a small group of students but as well to allow students in different areas of the room to see a model of what they are working on.
We love our process charts during instruction but are often confused where and how we can use them effectively when only some students can see the chart from their seats.
