Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students crave being outdoors and frequently request to take the classroom outside. Unfortunately, some activities have proven difficult beyond the classroom walls, in particular when students need a writing or drawing surface.
Access to being outdoors has shown to decrease stress levels in both students and teachers.
With this project, my students will be able to complete their assignments while enjoying our beautiful courtyard and other parts of our campus. The lap desks we are requesting are specifically designed for flexible seating and alternative learning environments. Thank you for your support in helping us create a flexible and modern learning experience!
