Popping with Care: Warm Snacks for Bright Minds

Help me give my students a popcorn machine to provide a warm, comforting snack that fosters community, motivation, and nourishment in the classroom.

My Project

My students are bright, hardworking, and full of potential. They come to class each day eager to learn, despite the challenges they may face outside of school. Many of them experience food insecurity, making it difficult to focus and stay engaged throughout the day. I love their resilience and the way they support one another like a true community. They deserve a classroom that not only nurtures their academic growth but also provides a sense of warmth and care.

A popcorn machine will allow me to offer students a simple, warm snack that keeps them energized and ready to learn.

Freshly popped popcorn is not only a healthier alternative to processed snacks, but it also creates an inviting atmosphere where students feel cared for and valued. Whether as a reward for participation, a way to build classroom connections, or simply to ensure no student goes hungry, this resource will have a lasting impact on their well-being and success.
