This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My SPED students have put in their best effort all year long. It’s been incredible to watch their motivation to learn and succeed. To celebrate their hard work and dedication, I’m requesting a compact popcorn maker and fun fidget incentives as rewards. They’ve truly earned it, and I would love to make this a special way to recognize their commitment!

Rewarding my SPED students with a popcorn party can positively impact their learning.

It will help students associate learning with positive experiences. The act of popping popcorn can be a sensory-friendly activity, providing calming and stimulating effects for students who benefit from sensory input. Fidget incentives given alongside the party can help with focus and self-regulation.
