Popping our way to 100 & through our ABCs!

Help me give my students one Pop-it that has 100 hundred bubbles, so they can learn their numbers 1-100. Another Pop-it that has enough bubbles for them to learn their ABC's.

My Students

My first graders this year are all so very unique! Due to Covid, some of them learned virtually from home in Kindergarten and some of them learned in the classroom at school; therefore, they are all at different learning & ability levels. But, we have started out our year by making our class a family, learning how to get along with one another, behave appropriately, show respect, be responsible, and stay safe in the classroom. My first graders are special because they all have a desire to want to learn- they love using their scissors, glue, and Chromebooks. No matter the task, they help each other out if they see a classmate struggling.

My Project

These materials will make learning in the classroom so much fun!! I noticed students LOVE these new "pop-it" toys, so I wanted to use that to my advantage as a teacher! In 1st grade, we learn to count from 1-100 and they must know all their letter sounds, and many different sight words. As they are counting from 1-100 it will keep them engaged, as well as learning to say their ABCs more enjoyable. I also plan to use these materials to help them spell words and eventually add/subtract numbers too. The possibilities are excitingly endless!
