My Project
In my classroom, I work with a variety of students on a multitude of different levels. This ranges from students working on recognizing their letters and sounds to students working on CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) words, sight words, and basic reading skills. Due to my students disabilities', the typical repetition and drill does not always provide the necessary practice needed to master the information taught. My students require more creative ways to help the information get stored in their brain. When a multi-sensory approach is used in my classroom, the students are more successful in their learning and their engagement increases.
These Fidget Games will allow me to work on the fundamental skills mentioned above in a more targeted and intense way.
Furthermore, the variety of games purchased will allow me to work on each student's ELA level and work up to the more advanced ELA skills. By having these games in my teacher toolbox, it will allow me to give my students the opportunity to become successful readers.
