My Students

I have 20 amazing students this year! They are responsible and respectful. They are always eager to learn. My students are bundles of energy who love to read! They come to school with a positive attitude each morning. They are hopeful to have an enriching day.

My students show great perseverance when presented with a challenge.

My students are team players, they help one another when needed. My students are confident problem solvers. They deserve the best education I can provide.

My Project

I am requesting a set of "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and a teacher literature circle guide. This book is turned into a musical nearly every year near our school. I prepare the kids for the musical by reading and discussing the book.

I usually read it aloud to the kids, but I think it would be even more beneficial if they can hold a copy in their hands!

With the help of the teacher guide, I can enhance my lessons for a deeper understanding of the theme, vocabulary, and so much more!

In connection with this fiction book, I will pair nonfiction passages about penguins!
