My Project
As an elementary school counselor, I prioritize the social-emotional well-being of our students. Over the past two years, I've supplied calming corner materials for classrooms, creating safe spaces for emotional management. This year, I aim to enhance every classroom calming corner with Pop-Up Pods and need your assistance!
Calming corners are essential for helping students develop self-regulation by providing a space to reset when overwhelmed.
Many students experience sensory overload, anxiety, or frustration, and a cozy, semi-private area can significantly help. Pop-Up Pods offer security and reduce distractions, enabling students to take brief breaks, practice calming strategies, and return to learning focused.
With your support, we hope to acquire 15 Pop-Up Pods—one for each classroom. Your generosity will directly benefit hundreds of students, fostering an environment where they feel seen, heard, and empowered.
