This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are incredible! They are active learners and love hands on activities. Using their problem solving skills, they enjoy working collaboratively creating large projects. Our year long project, creating a Pop Up Museum of African American History and Culture for our school community has just begun. Our goal is to make connections and bridge our past to our present and future.

With these books, supplies and resources, my students will be able to design and create their Pop Up Museum that will educate and benefit their friends, families, teachers and community.

They will also be able to work independently and develop into leaders as they empower others and build their own teams for this exciting project.
