This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a great group of learners which include TK through fifth grade students. A large percentage of our students are eligible for free or reduced price lunch and are English Language Learners. My students are resilient, eager to learn, and benefit greatly from engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments tailored to their unique needs and strengths.
These pop-up books will be an excellent resource because they will provide an engaging, interactive, and visually stimulating way to teach and reinforce various concepts.
These pop-up books will capture my students' attention with their three-dimensional elements, moving parts, and vibrant illustrations. They will make reading more exciting, especially for younger students. The pop-up books will allow my students to see stories and concepts come to life in a tangible way. They will inspire creativity by showing how illustrations can be transformed into dynamic, interactive experiences. The visual and tactile aspects of pop-up books will cater to my students who learn best through seeing and touching. The moving parts and 3D designs will make abstract concepts more concrete and easier to understand. I also added some books to read to my students about the lunar new year. Reading books about it helps students understand its traditions, history, and importance.
