My Project
I love my resilient students! I teach Intensive Reading and Pre-IB English at a school with a large number of students living at our below the poverty line. Despite the challenges they face at home, my students come to school with a hunger to learn.
Unfortunately, many of my students also come to school hungry.
Throughout the year, I do my best to keep a snack pantry stocked for the many requests for food I receive each day. However, as the end of the year approaches, my snack pantry has run dry.
Please help me provide much needed snacks to help my students make it to the end of the year. I want them to be able to focus on their end-of-year exams instead of hungry stomachs. Thank you for considering donating to my classroom!
