My Project

Every day, we spend an hour and a half in small group reading centers. While I am teaching a small group how to read, the remainder of the students are engaged in independent reading, writing, and spelling activities.

We are seeking fun spelling activities for students to do independently.

Kids now-a-days love Pop-its! Pop-its are silicone trays with pokable bubbles. It is similar to reusable bubble wrap. To make spelling more engaging, I would like to provide students with alphabet Pop-its. These Pop-its will allow students to poke letter bubbles as they spell words. This activity will be an independent activity used by students during reading centers.

My students love to learn! Please help me to provide them with materials that will make spelling more fun.
