Pop Art Candy Wrappers

Help me give my students enjoy their semester in art by giving them the materials need to do so.

My Project

Art is more than just drawing 2D. When art becomes 3D students enjoy it more. These materials will help complete my pop lesson influenced by Roy Lichtenstein an artist who turned everyday objects into art. The students create life-size candy. You make the candy using bulletin paper and acrylic paint. The students will draw the logo for their favorite candy on bulletin board paper and then paint it. After the paint dries the students will glue the sides together and stuff the candy with paper.

The goal of this project is to expose the students to different ways of creating art 2D vs 3D.
