This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist who has been called the ‘Queen or Princess of Polka Dots’. She expresses herself by using bold colors and Polka dots in all her artworks. This project is inspired by Yayoi Kusama's Dot paintings.

Instead of using paints and brushes, I would like my students to use a less intimidating material: the Dot-Stickers.

Dot Stickers come in various bold colors and sizes. Since the Dots are already pre cut and uniformed, it will make the project more fun and will boost my students confident in the making of their flower collages
