My Project
We have a very diverse student population of students at our school. Many of them love to collect Pokémon cards and watch the TV shows and movies, but hardly any of them know how to play the game. Many of them have expressed a desire to learn the game. I learned this game with my son during the pandemic and watched how quickly his math and reading skills skyrocketed (there is a ton of reading and math), as well as his strategizing abilities. Also, we learned this together two and a half years ago and he is still obsessed with the game. I want to instill all of this into my students as well.
I recently started a Pokémon club for my classroom after buying a couple of these boxes, but it's gotten too big at this point and I need more decks.
Lots of kids want to join and learn the game. This particular box is the best deal for learning to play. It is super cheap (compared to any other Pokémon products) but comes with three complete decks per box. That is unheard of. This means that an additional 18 kids will be able to play each week, bringing the club total to 24. That's pretty solid! I look forward to watching their progress.
