This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school students are provided to join a club aligned to their interests. This year I would love to start a podcast/news club to teach students about the process of creating media to inform, express and opinion and discuss relevant topics as well as to share with the schools community what is happening inside and outside the classrooms.

As a teacher with a background in communications and journalism I believe that our students will enjoy this club, aquiete unique skills at an early age and build a sense of belonging within the school.
