Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The equipment requested will help us create our first recording studio in the classroom. Our project uses podcasting to let our students learn about researching, synthesizing, communicating, and sharing their learning. We are requesting an iPad in which we will record and edit the podcast, and also a microphone and an interface set to ensure the audio quality is good. Creating a podcast is the perfect opportunity to let our students research Math, Science, Reading, or any topics they feel interested in.
Researching, synthesizing, communicating, and sharing learning and knowledge with others are critical skills our students will master through the podcasting project.
We are ambitious about this project as we believe it will benefit our 4th graders who will create the content and all other students who will listen to the podcasts.
