My Project
Podcast 101 is a hands-on elective course that empowers students to produce our in house show "The Classy Podcast", a student-centered show that amplifies youth voices through interviews, discussions, and storytelling. This project-based class teaches technical and creative skills in media production, from scriptwriting and audio engineering to on-camera hosting. To bring this vision to life, we are seeking funding for essential studio equipment, including a high-quality studio camera, professional microphones, adjustable stands, and related gear. The camera will allow us to film episodes for YouTube and social media, expanding our reach and showcasing student talent. Microphones and stands will ensure clear, professional audio and support small-group recording setups. With the right tools, students will gain real-world experience in digital content creation, public speaking, and collaborative media production. This equipment will not only enhance our podcast—it will empower students to share their stories with authenticity and impact.
