My students need 25 chair pockets to keep their desks organized and free of clutter.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Pope's classroom raised $466
This project is fully funded
I teach 4th grade at an inner-city school in Indiana. In my classroom, I try to instill a genuine love of reading. I have a variety of reading materials that the students are eager to get their hands on.
All of my students have a stack of books on their desks so they can get lost in a book at anytime. In order to preserve the books, they are not allowed inside the student desks or on the floor. Once books go inside the desks, they tend to get lost, torn, or just beat up.
In the past, the students have kept their stack of reading materials on top of their desks. This creates a problem because the students end up losing half of their work space. If the students had chair pockets, they could keep all of their reading materials in the pouch on the back of their chair. Each student could have easy access to their reading materials and have a clutter free desktop. (If you've ever been in a 4th grade classroom, you know this isn't always an easy feat to accomplish!)
By funding this project, you will be:
1. Organizing our workspace
2. Preserving our books
3. Allowing students to foster a love of reading by always having self selected reading material right at their hands!
Thank you in advance for you support!
