Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We will have a new group of energetic 5-year olds in our classroom next year. Our students come from many different parts of the world, with different academic and language needs, but they always come together to form a wonderful bunch who love to learn.

Having a place to keep your belongings makes you feel at home, and that is really important to us in our Kindergarten classroom.

My teaching partner and I want to make our classroom as warm and inviting as possible but budget cuts make it near impossible for our school to supply us with anything but the bare necessities.

Our classroom does not have desks, we have tables, so that means there is no storage space inside for the students to keep their books. The seat sack solves that problem and makes it possible for our students to have everything they need right there behind them.

Having a new, clean, set of seat sacks will go a long way in making our students feel like they are important in our classroom and that this is their home away from home. With your help we can make our classroom just a little bit more like home.
