Dear Potential Donors, I hope this message finds you well! My name is Naomi Barnett, and I am a 1st-grade teacher. I teach a group of bright, curious, and hardworking students who love using technology in our classroom daily. Our class is requesting headphones to enhance independent learning on our Chromebooks. Many of the headphones we currently have are old and worn out, leaving us with only a small number that still work. The learning programs we use daily often include songs, instructional videos, and interactive activities with loud audio, which can distract other students who are trying to focus. By providing each student with their own pair of headphones, we can create a more focused and productive learning environment for everyone!
Headphones are especially beneficial for students with disabilities and multilingual learners.
They thrive with hands-on activities, technology-based lessons, and opportunities to work independently.
We are requesting a class set of durable, comfortable headphones so that each student can have a quiet, personalized learning experience. Whether they’re working on improving their reading fluency, practicing math skills, or learning English, these headphones will help them stay focused and make the most of every minute!
This project will make a real difference in the daily learning environment. With a reliable set of headphones, students can work at their own pace, hear clearly, and avoid unnecessary distractions. It will also allow me to manage the classroom more effectively and support differentiated instruction.
