This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My special education caseload includes grades fifth through eight. Student choice works wonders when students read independently or in a small group. Because my students are at different reading levels, providing their own head phones will allow them to go at their own pace.
By using headphones, students will be able to block unwanted noise and improve their ability to focus.
Headphones will increase their minds' ability to focus and in return, result in better reading comprehension. Headphones are also a cue for students that it is time for learning.
