Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our inner-city students come from various backgrounds, and English is not always their native language. They come to school wanting to learn, and they work hard because school is the safest place for a lot of them. We are a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. The students in our school are special becasue they come from all over the world!
My students have already started to show growth this year and we want to celebrate, by playing our own version of Plinko, how they have overcome challenges with determination and perseverance, inspiring those around them to achieve their goals as well.
This project aims to provided students with resources and prizes that will enhance their iReady Math learning experience. By integrating various educational tools, we will create a supportive environment for students who are thriving in math. The educational games and prizes will reinforce the skills learned in iReady and motivate students to achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
