My Students

Our students are creative, resilient, thoughtful learners who are pursuing their education in an alternative environment. We are an application program and often have a waiting list for students wanting to attend.

The 9-12 students who will benefit from these resources are in an alternative school setting.

Providing smaller classes is just one of many ways we strive to help students achieve academic success. The downside of a smaller setting is, of course, a smaller building and a smaller budget. Students and staff work together in finding creative solutions to space and financial limitations.

My Project

Stephen King says, "Books are a uniquely portable magic." I agree, though, I have many students who have not yet experienced this to be true. Your generous donation to our class library will help change that!

I have spent significant time researching titles that connect with a variety of students.

Among this list are tried and true favorites from a diverse list of sources. These will expand our classroom library, however, I am certain some will find permanent homes with students as well. I am delighted when a student discovers a book they love so much that they want to keep it. I hope they find many within this list.
