My Project

My students come from a very diverse population and learn best through hands-on learning. My students are academically gifted and look forward to learning new things every day! Every year, we study renewable and non-renewable resources, and we never have enough technology for the whole class.

The Apple iPad is a wonderful resource that we can use to research ways to help our school and community become more eco-friendly.

This year, our science teacher, started a Green Team. The goal of the Green Team is to help our students and staff think consciously about our environment and how we can help be a difference. The students will spend time learning how they can help our students reduce, reuse, and recycle things and how they can make the world a better place.
