Please Help , We Lost Our Art Supplies!

My students need art supplies; scissors, paint, paint brushes, paper, glue sticks, glitter, and chalk.

This project is fully funded

I teach a 4 year old, Child Development class. I teach at a high minority urban school. This is a very high need community school.

My students live in poverty. These students cannot afford the supplies needed. As a Child Development program we are not funded by the county. I depend on donations, what the students supply, and my own purchases. My students are excited about learning and struggle to afford the proper supplies. After the first day of this school year, my classroom was broken into and vandalized. The few supplies that my students brought in and everything that was donated or purchased with my own funds to supply the students for the whole school year, was destroyed. The vandals used all of our art supplies to deface our classroom.

My students need art supplies to enhance their learning experiences. We are asking for paint, paint brushes, paper, glue, glitter, scissors, and tissue paper for this purpose.

We need your help to make it possible for my students to explore the arts. These students are not given the opportunity to paint, draw, or create at home. These supplies will give my students the tools to express themselves through art.
