This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kind, compassionate, sweet, and funny are just a few words I can use to describe our classroom! We have a class of 7 students between the ages of 4 and 5 years old in Anchorage, Alaska.

These Amazon Fire devices would help us in several ways including continued learning and reinforcement of sharing, an introduction to using technology that will become more and more important as they get older, and assisting with effective communication.

Some of our kids are working through a speech delay and can become frustrated when they want to communicate a specific want or need. Programs that we can provide with tablets allow kiddos to use pictures to communicate what they would like and/or how they are feeling. The more they can communicate with us the better and quicker we can help them!
