Please Help Us Quill To Get A Honey-Can-Do-All-Purpose Cart
My students need a Honey-Can-Do-All Purpose Teaching Cart by "Quill" so that as an art teacher I can bring supplies into their rooms to make great projects.
I am a Special Education Teacher, an Art Teacher, and a Co-Teacher of ICT classes of Science in a Title One School.
I find that when I integrate all subjects with art, I have amazing results. I also teach afterschool as the Literacy and Art teacher. My school is struggling in reading and math and need many different teaching styles. I teach them using a hands-on approach using art for engagement. My students are very creative and learn best through hands-on projects. I've tied many core subjects to the arts with great success.
My Project
I am a special education art teacher that is applying art to all core subjects including STEAM. I have no art cart and have to carry my supplies up and down four flights of stairs. My students are not able to do as many wonderful projects, because I carry a crate and it gets too heavy.
Art integration applied to core subjects is huge.
I teach in a Title One School in high poverty and my children need hands-on projects to understand their lessons more visually. If I had this Honey-Can-Do-All-Purpose Cart I could station my paints and brushes, as well as buckets of water, on a floor to wheel into the classrooms on that floor. My students really want to paint badly.
