it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students need the experience of creating digital research projects in order to help them to pass their state exams and to get ready for college level work.
My students attend a public high school in New York.
Most of them come from families that cannot afford expensive school supplies and technology. They are motivated to attend college but need support to reach that goal. One of the things they need is the experience of creating research projects. That is why we need a high quality multimedia cart.
My Project
We are building a multimedia cart! So far, through generous help from people like you, we have a projector and a laptop computer. Now, our goal is to add portable hard drives to the cart. It is important for everything to be portable because we work in different rooms during the day. With this additional memory storage we will be able to create and save multimedia projects!
The media cart we are creating is a very versatile and important tool for learning.
Students are motivated by the opportunity to learn visually and technologically! This has already made a huge difference in making the material more understandable and clear, resulting in great improvements in student achievement. Please help us to take the next step in our project!
