My Students

Do you remember the first time you were able to create something that you could be proud of? My students need that; the ability to be proud of something they wrote and illustrated. We need a bookbinding machine so that we can save that work they have created and save it!

We are a Title One school, where many times the work that goes home is never seen again.

At our school, we have at least two publishing parties a year. Children are always so proud of their writing, and become super excited when they are able to read their writing to other people. Imagine how they would feel about their writing and illustrations if they were able to have their names on bound books of their very own.

My Project

My students are so fast to say I can't do that. Once they see how the machine binds the paper together and the beautiful outcome of their own work, it will inspire other children to complete their work. I also think parents might keep this work because it has been bound into a book.

This bookbinding machine will help my students see their work in a different way.

Students will be able to see their writing turned into a book that they will be able to take home and share with their family.
