This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is geared toward supporting our middle school basketball team. Over the years, basketballs have been worn down and the team is currently in possession of one regulation basketball. To help get our student-athletes in a place where they can compete, we need to provide them with the basic supplies, like water bottles, basketballs, and an air pump, in order to play.

Our goal is to provide students with a safe after-school activity that will allow them to have fun and learn how to properly compete.

We know that students do better in school when they are involved in organized activities. Next year, we are hoping to be able to continue our support for student growth.
