Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have an amazing class of curious and diverse third graders. I would love to give my students the opportunity to create custom STEM and World of Work custom shirts and costumes for a school play.
They will be able to collaborate on and fabricate their designs for future jobs as fashion designers.
The play is based on a character who learns how our climate is changing and what steps can be taken to help our fragile environment. The students will be designing logos for their shirts that remind the other students what they can do to help. For example, some logos may give reminders to recycle, clean up trash, not waste water at home or school, reuse water bottles and plastic bags, and help keep our beaches and outdoors clean. Please help give them the opportunity to learn how they can contribute to saving our planet.
