My Project
The aim of this project is to help my wonderful 5th grade students acquire and learn new vocabulary that will help them be successful in all school subjects, but especially reading and writing. My students are yearning to learn and use new vocabulary, and they take great delight in using new words they learn in class.
Vocabulary is an area many of my students are behind in, and we need support with high quality resources in order to close the gap.
The resources that I am requesting will go such a long way in order to help my students use high quality vocabulary in fun, engaging and motivating lessons and activities.
I am very fortunate to teach many Spanish speakers and also many students that are behind in reading but have a tremendous desire to better themselves and improve in reading and writing. The resources I am hoping to secure will have the most wonderful impact on improving the vocabulary of my 5th grade students.
