This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hi! I teach some of the coolest kids in the country, sadly they come from low-income households. My kids are smart, funny, and ready to learn. These kids need help bridging that achievement gap and so I turn to you to ask for your help. My kids would benefit from a classroom library that has a selection of leveled readers. Though I am constantly buying books, I can not fill their need on my own. My kids are developing a love for reading, but need more books to keep them engaged. Thank you so much for your support.

My Project

My students love to learn. Your support will give my students the platform to learn about places far beyond their imagination. These books will create a warm and inviting library that will be tailored to their individual tastes and help close that achievement gap that is hanging over them. I know that the experiences and worlds they will learn about from these books, would be impossible for them otherwise. Thanks for your help, I know my students will be appreciative. They will also know that there are people who believe in them and what they can achieve. Thank you so much!
