Help me give my students an amazing story and lesson on diversity and acceptance. The book "Seedfolks," by Paul Fleischman is a great story about a vacant city lot that is transformed by the diverse community.

My Project
I appreciate you taking the time to look at our project. I've read this book to past classes, and it is always a favorite. Unfortunately, I haven't had the funds to purchase a class set, and I thought this would be a great option. The book "Seedfolks," teaches us to think about others and their struggles to live in a city or diverse community.
Our school does not have a lot of racial diversity, but it is a constant conversation and teaching point when I'm putting together lessons and units.
Am I reaching everyone?
Is there something I missed? Have I thought about their lives when they aren't at school? How can I bring diversity lessons into a classroom setting? This book is right here! This story opens up so many conversations and is an overall powerful read. I hope we can all hold the book in our hands this year. Thanks!
