My Project
In our second-grade classroom, we strive to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students. One innovative tool we believe will greatly enhance our classroom is the use of Bounce Bands. These simple yet effective rubber bands attach to the legs of desks and provide students with a quiet outlet for movement, helping to increase focus and reduce classroom disruptions.
The primary goal of this project is to improve student concentration and engagement during classroom activities.
By providing Bounce Bands, we aim to enhance focus by allowing students to release energy in a non-disruptive manner, increasing their ability to concentrate during lessons. To support diverse learning needs by catering to students who need physical movement to stay engaged, particularly those with ADHD or sensory processing challenges and to reduce classroom disruptions and create a more conducive atmosphere for learning.
By using Bounce Bands, students will have an outlet for physical movement, which can help maintain their focus on educational tasks. In turn, we will have improved academic performance with enhanced concentration. Lastly it wilI provide an enhanced inclusive classroom environment, providing tools that support different learning styles fosters an inclusive and supportive classroom community.
