Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are very eager to learn, however, many of them come to school without their basic needs being met. My classroom has no windows, so having the light coverings would help create a more soothing environment.
Many of my students also come to school unequipped with pencils.
They also get easily frustrated when they cannot sharpen their pencils correctly.
Having a calmly lit environment that brings the outdoors in, and having the basic tool of a pencil that is sharpened will greatly help my students to have a foundation to learn.
