Please Help A First Year Teacher - Help His Students!

My students need several different writing supplies, such as daily book logs, a tabletop writing center, a create-a-story center, a picture story paper, staple free staplers, a stamp-draw and write story center, and extra story starter pads.

All students have potential, it is my job to help them reach it. That is my driving passion during this first year of teaching! I am a first grade teacher- and a MALE!! I'm the only one in the district which makes me sort of popular but I don't care about all that- it's the students that I want to make a difference with. I am at a great school and so happy to be in the position I am. Teaching is tough- but SO worth it!

My parents joke with me (being a guy), "Oh, go have fun at school with naptime and snack!" Little do they know, right? First Grade is so much more than it once was, and my students this year have shown SUCH a desire for writing and a real thirst for learning about other authors and becoming more like them!

With your help, I can give the students more opportunities to write and with materials that aren't bought out of my pocket! Right now, we are using my printer paper for a lot of our books, and this cannot continue! I really need these writing/story centers in order to have a more cohesive and effective learning environment for our writing time. I have lots of plans for them to write some great books and stories!

You will CERTAINLY make a difference by giving to this project and I promise you, you could not help a more appreciative teacher. I know what it's like to be without enough and what a difference it makes when you do have what you need and more!
