My Students

I work in a Title I school. My students are low income and need more support to reach grade level in reading. Our community is vibrant and diverse and is coming together amidst the difficulty we faced two years ago. I want to provide the best for my students in all areas of learning.

Unlike many educators, this is the third year I will be working with the same group of students.

I am hoping that the difference I can make will be greater since I know them so well. Having support through DonorsChoose.org will only strengthen my ability to change their lives this year!

My Project

My students love to learn! We have been using a rectangle table that just isn't the right size for us to have a guided reading group. I am always trying to reach over and help others, and there is nowhere to put our things! Please help my classroom by giving us a comfortable place to enjoy our small group time together. I will be using the table to meet with reading and intervention groups during math. Its size is perfect for me to get rid of my teacher desk in my classroom and use that space to enlarge my reading library as well! Come on and help me fund the possibilities that I see for next year!
