Help me give my students flexible seating! We are looking to purchase a class-set of cushions so everyone can choose the learning and reading spot that's best for them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a dual immersion 2nd-grade class. Students in my class are either native Spanish speakers learning English or native English speakers learning Spanish. Most of my students are between the ages of 7 and 8.
The school is a low-income school lacking a lot of useful resources.
Second graders are very interested and eager to learn. They come to school every day with a lot of energy and potential. We will be working on strategies that will help us become better readers, writers, and mathematicians.
My Project
My class is a lively bunch that is still working on perfecting their gross motor skills and impulse control.
To help support our wiggliest students, I would like to be able to provide flexible seating in the classroom.
With the help of your donation, and these cushions, we will ensure that no student loses learning due to their seating arrangements.
With the freedom to move around and pick a different spot where they can be the most focused, students are learning independence and given the opportunity to learn outside of the conventional classroom seating chart.
More than half of students from low‑income households
