Help me give my students a chance to learn and explore through art and play based activities.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Huff's classroom raised $633
This project is fully funded
My Students
My class of kindergarteners is a fun group, who are eager to learn! They attend school in a large district outside of Denver, Colorado. It is a Title I school, which means that there is a high percentage of students from low-income families. There are about 600 students in the kindergarten through 8th grade building, and over 85% of the elementary school children qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Despite the struggles that many students face outside of the classroom, my students are excited to come to school and ready to learn!
My Project
This project will provide hands-on, play-based learning activities that promote early literacy, math, and science, as well as invaluable social skills. I incorporate as many play-based activities as I can to support my students as they learn how to share, be creative, and be problem solvers.
The more activities I can provide to increase my students' engagement and support learning the better!
I am asking for a variety of resources for use throughout the day including Blends and Digraphs Teaching Tubs, Magnetic Alphabet Fishing, a Butterfly Nursery, Real Bugs Discovery Kit, Numbers to 100 Match-Up, Construction Paper, and paint. Thank you for considering a donation to my project!
