Playing in Tune Saves Baby Kittens!

Help me give my students Snark clip on instrument tuners so we have one more way to find our in tune sound. These are not the only solution to play in tune, but they sure will help!

My Project

Have you ever heard a band play completely in-tune? It's magical! Everything and everyone resonates and there is nothing like it. At DHS, we try everyday to get better and better at playing in tune and having the same device will help us get there much more quickly. This little device (The Snark SN-1 Chromatic Instrument Tuner) hears the sound, shows a clear picture of the pitch and a student can make adjustments to their instrument or face to modify the sound in real time. The band is a special group of magnificent students who strive to get better 1% each day. Cummulatively, they are beginning to excel and consistently earn Superior ratings and accolades galore, but playing in tune is an ongoing/never ending quest. As I explain to our students, playing out of tune hurts baby kittens. Let's save these kittens together!
