This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our kindergarten classroom, we are moving, singing, dancing, and creating every day. My students love hands-on, engaging projects and come to school eager to learn. It's an honor to see them grow personally and academically in the classroom.
I am requesting STEM materials to build our play centers.
These materials will allow students to build their vocabulary, background knowledge, and academic knowledge. We will use the dollhouse materials in dramatic play, working on social/emotional skills as well as oral language. The STEM centers will be used in math and play to engage students with mathematical concepts through play. My goal is for every child to be excited about learning and to use play to enhance their imagination and communication skills.
